Honeydew of metcalfa-pruinose:
the honey is dark amber coloured, with red-dull reflect. It is full-bodied,
with strong and penetrating odour and a very pleasant taste. Usually
it is liquid.
Very rich of mineral substances, potassium, phosphorus, iron, enzymes and amino acid. It has abacteriostasis power ten times superior that the other honeys. Thanks to its richness in mineral salts is an excellent ant anaemic.
Use: As breakfast spread on bread slightly toasted, excellent for dry cough and sore throat
